Top Ten Anime of 2013

I know that there's another list, but since that list is so jacked up already, there should be a new list. Here is the requirements

1) It can start in 2012 as long as it ENDS in 2013 (i.e Magi, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo)

2) It has to run within 2013. If an anime series, however begins this year, but ends the next year, don't put it on the list. If you're planning to put a series on here from the Summer or Fall 2013, please do some research on the anime to see how long it will run  before adding it. After all, according to Random Curiosity, you can't really judge a series until it's over. So if a series will continue on into next year, PLEASE DON'T ADD IT TO THIS LIST!

3) Long running series ( Naruto, Bleach, One piece, Fairy Tail) should not be put on this list, to give new shows a chance to be on the spotlight.

4) If the series is completed before 2013, don't put in on this list. I don't care if the series was great, other shows need a chance.

5) Please don't put a series on the list until it has been CONFIRMED.

6) Please don't put an anime on the list unless it has been AIRED

7) This list is for TV ANIME only.

8) When you add an anime, please put a full name.

9) Please put a description of the anime. You can copy the synopsis.

Thirty years ago a strange phenomena called a "spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, claiming the lives of at least 150 million people. Since then, smaller spacequakes plague the world on an irregular basis. Shido Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and learns from his sister Kotori she is one of the "Spirits" who are the real cause of the spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the world. He also learns that Kotori is the captain of the airship Fraxinus, crewed by the organization Ratatoskr, and is recruited to make use of his mysterious ability to seal the Spirits' powers thus stopping them from being a threat to mankind. However, there is a catch: to seal a Spirit, he must make her fall in love with him.

Tada Banri, a newly admitted student at a private law school in Tokyo, found himself completely lost after the opening ceremony, trying to find his way to the freshman orientation. At that moment, he ran into another lost freshman from the same school, Yanagisawa Mitsuo, and they hit it off at once. Somehow arriving at their intended goal just on time, there appeared in front of the two a beautiful girl holding a bouquet of roses. The girl then whacked Mitsuo across the face with the bouquet and handed the flowers over to him. "Freshman, congratulations", was all she said, and then left. The stylish, well dressed, perfect woman that had swung at Mitsuo was his childhood friend, Kaga Kouko. As children they had promised to marry each other one day, fulfilling their dreams. In order to escape from her, Mitsuo had gone out secretly and taken the examination for this well known private college, but now she showed up in the freshman orientation hall. She too had taken the law school entrance examination, catching up with him there

I thought this was on the list already but apparently not.

The dark fantasy follows a high school student named Akihito Kanbara. Although the boy appears human, he is half youmu and invulnerable to wounds because he can heal quickly. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it seems she is about to jump from the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is unique even among members of the spirit world. Disturbing events begin to unfold after Akihito saves Mirai.

Loved it! The way how he acts seems mean to everyone, but really he's putting his own pride and status at the school on the line just so he can make others happy and help them. He really seems like a hero towards the end ;)

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Elen and his foster sisterMikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Elen vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind. I watched the first few episodes, but I wasn't able to get into it: The characters are well designed, and the action is good, but I have a hard time caring about the plot when the characters are not risking anything except a little inconveiance. And how did they get stuck in the game in the first palce?

Which is better is a stupid question, why? Log Horizon concentrates on MMORPG itself while Sword Art Online concentrates finishing the life and death game. The problem with the people is that they think Log Horizon or viseversa is better than the other. All I could say they are wrong as I said earlier the point of Log Horizon concentrates on MMORPG such as trading, economy, politics, ect while Sword Art Online concentrates on finishing the life and death game if not they will die in real life even they are not killed by the monsters or whatever their real bodys has limit in real life so its a matter of time so they don't have to concentrate on the game itself. Every show has it's own goal it doesn't have be this and that.

Log Horizon is more about the characters interacting while playing an RPG. they aren't doing anythiung really earth shaking. There is no life or death, but it's well written.

for some reason, i didn't enjoy log horizon at all. for me, there wasn't a strong enough plot and the whole series didn't have a direction it was going towards. however, it's still not as bad as the legend of korra, where the storyline is implemented too strongly into each episode while building up character development on too many characters. in kill la kill, it was clear what was to be achieved in each episode in relation to the series as a whole so i thought that was better. Log Horizon wasn't really an amazing anime, as the storyline was all over the place, the music was subpar, the art was decent and there wasn't anything that was really thrilling or outstanding about this.

The series takes place in the near future, when it is possible to instantaneously measure and quantify a person's state of mind and personality. This information is recorded and processed, and the term "Psycho-Pass" in the anime's title refers to a standard used to measure an individual's being. The story centers around the "enforcement officer" Shinya Kōgami, who is tasked with managing crime in such a world.

Devil King Sadao is only one step away from conquering the world when he is beaten by Hero Emilia and forced to drift to the other world: modern-day Tokyo. As "conquering the world" are the only skills the Devil King possesses—and are obviously unnecessary in his new situation—he must work as a freeter to pay for his living expenses!

Log Horizon is a 'World-Building Anime' build on a foundation of... world-building, interwoven with pauses for G rated 'fanservice' (if you can call it that) and multi-episode Character Arcs who's end purpose seems to be world-building.
